Aleona Chinikaylo of Dallas, Pa., Assists Wilkes University Professor Linda Gutierrez With Summer Research

Aleona Chinikaylo of Dallas, Pa., is assisting Wilkes University assistant professor of biology Linda Gutierrez with her research this summer.

Chinikaylo is a biology major at Wilkes University. All four of Gutierrez's research assistants are studying the effects of Thrombospondin, colorectal cancer, and an up-regulated gene called LGR5.
