Cierra Cellerari, of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Featured in the Wilkes University Theatre Production of Amadeus, April 12 - 15

Cierra Cellerari, of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., will be featured in the Wilkes University Theatre production Amadeus, showing from April 12-15. She will play the role of a Venticelli in the production.

Cellerari is a junior at Wilkes and is majoring in musical theatre. Cellerari was involved in previous Wilkes University Theatre productions, such as appearing as Jo in "Little Women". She is the daughter of Jack and Noreen Cellerari.

Winner of a Tony Award for Best Play as well as the Academy Award for Best Film, Peter Shaffer's "Amadeus" is a gripping whodunit drama that examines what jealousy and envy can do to the human soul. A highly fictionalized tale of eighteenth century composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Salieri, "Amadeus" portrays one of theatre's ultimate rivalries with glorious music and madness.
