Dylan Fox of Denver, Pa., is one of more than 45 students at Wilkes University who have accepted on-campus leadership roles as resident assistants. Resident assistants are responsible for crisis management, documenting policy violations, reporting maintenance requests and various other administrative tasks in campus residence halls where undergraduate students live. They are also responsible for fostering a residential environment supportive of individual student growth and development and encouraging on-campus community participation. Fox is a sophomore pre-pharmacy student.

Resident assistants are appointed for an academic year and have the primary responsibility for a floor, wing or house. The student leaders agree to abide by a code of ethics and must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.25 or higher while carrying a full course load of at least 12 credits.
