Gianna Chase of Scranton, Pa., Performs in "Our Town" Oct.1-4

Gianna Chase of Scranton, Pa., will perform in Wilkes University Theatre's production of "Our Town," a drama by Thornton Wilder, Oct. 1-4. Performances are being held nightly at 8 p.m. in the Dorothy Dickson Darte Center, with a Sunday matinee performance at 2 p.m. Chase is playing the role of Mrs. Webb.

Directed by Wilkes' assistant professor of theatre Jon Liebetrau, this Pulitzer Prize-winning play delves into the complexity of the human experience by peeking into seemingly simple lives of people in the town of Grover's Corners, N.H., revealing profound meaning.
