Harrison Eckert of Orefield, Pa. was elected to the Wilkes University Student Government Executive Board. Eckert is the Executive Recording Officer. Eckert is the sole coordinator of city-wide community service event entitled "The Big Event" in Wilkes-Barre, where over 450 student volunteers participate at 35 sites in the local area. He is also responsible for meeting minutes, member attendance, member community service hours, and organizing voting in weekly meetings on fund allocations from the Student Government budget to various clubs and organizations after a two-week request process. Eckert is a Biology, pre-med track. major.
