Ian Foley of Whitehall, Pa., is one of 45 undergraduate students serving the Wilkes University community as a member of the student government. Student Government is the major decision- and policy-making organization for the student body at Wilkes University, providing student input on University policy and governing extracurricular life at Wilkes.

Foley is a senior political science and communication studies major and the president of the executive board on Wilkes' student government. Foley serves on the elections and traffic committees and the student affairs cabinet.Foley is the son of Karen and Tom Foley. In addition, Foley is a resident assistant, an e-mentor, a member of the programming board, a student ambassador and a member of the homecoming student team as well as being named the 2013 Homecoming King.
