Jordan Lindley of Hunlock Creek, Pa. Presents Research at Inaugural Sidhu Research Day

Jordan Lindley of Hunlock Creek, Pa., was one of 35 undergraduate students from the Wilkes University Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership to present at the inaugural Sidhu Research Day on Dec.1. Lindley was awarded the Sidhu school dean's award for best conference research presentation and first place in undergraduate best conference posters category. The event - a first for the Sidhu School - celebrates academic achievement and mentorship. The conference theme, "Value Chain Innovations in Digital, Social Media, and Mobile Commerce," featured research topics as social media advertising, cyber security, women in entrepreneurship, and social networking addiction. Lindley's research was titled, "Ballin' the Pinball Way: Conceptualizing the W.A.L.L.I.N. Framework for Analyzing the Transition from Linear to Collaborative Social Media Advertising and Learning." The research examines the transition from a linear advertising approach, known as "the bowling alley" approach, to a more collaborative approach known as "pinball advertising."
