Meagan L. O'Connell, of Mountain Top, Pa., Begins Student Teaching for Wilkes University

Meagan L. O'Connell, of Mountain Top, Pa., is one of thirty-four Wilkes University education majors completing student teaching assignments for the spring 2013 semester. These student teachers are working in high schools and elementary schools in districts throughout northeast Pennsylvania. Their areas of specialization range from secondary English and history to mathematics and special education.

OConnell is a senior at Wilkes and is majoring in elementary and special education. She is the daughter of Thomas J. O'Connell, Sr. and Linda L. O'Connell. OConnell will be teaching third grade social studies and science and K-4 learning support at Valley Elementary and Middle School.
