Harris was placed with the UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, N.J. Wilkes continued to match pharmacy students seeking residency training at a rate above the national average. Post-graduate training in the pharmacy field includes residencies, fellowships and doctorate programs. Although not required for practice, the training allows pharmacists to work in advanced positions within the profession. Residencies may be a one- or two-year commitment, and fellowships follow a two-year specialized track. The select number of graduates awarded a post-graduate position adds to the honor and value of this opportunity.
