Wilkes University Civic Band Member Autumn Peck of Shamokin, Pa., Performs with Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Band

Autumn Peck of Shamokin, Pa., was one of six members of the Wilkes University Civic Band who performed with the Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Band at the 68th Annual Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Band Festival, held at Bloomsburg University. Peck played clarinet II. The students rehearsed for three days with over 100 other collegiate bandsmen from across the state. The concert was conducted by Timothy Salzman, professor of music and director of concert bands at the University of Washington, Seattle, Wash. The Wilkes performers were nominated for the intercollegiate band by Philip G. Simon, associate professor of music and director of bands at Wilkes University.
