Wilkes University Student Cassidy Heid of Swoyersville, Pa. 18704 Presented Award at Annual Scholarship Luncheon

Cassidy Heid of Swoyersville, Pa. 18704, is the recipient of The Francis D. Shotwell Memorial Scholarship at Wilkes University. Scholarship students were recognized along with the donors whose gifts made the scholarships possible at the University's annual Scholarship Luncheon on March 22. The scholarship is presented to one student with a documented disability impacting his/her learning, which is connected to the academic support services. Preference will be given to a student with a diagnosis on the autism spectrum who demonstrates financial need. It was established by the bequest of Mrs. Shotwell and by designation of her daughter Sandra H. Shotwell '79. Heid is a biology major.
