Erika Zarfoss of York, Pa. 17408, is the recipient of The Samuel Berk Memorial Scholarship at Wilkes University. Scholarship students were recognized along with the donors whose gifts made the scholarships possible at the University's annual Scholarship Luncheon on March 22. The scholarship is presented to a student who is a pre-pharmacy major and demonstrates academic merit and financial need. It was created in 1994 by Samuel Berk's son, the Honorable Jeremiah E. Berk '63. His father was a prominent pharmacist. Zarfoss is a pre-pharmacy major.
