Wilkes University Student Mackenzie Egan Participates in Second Annual Wyoming Valley Undergraduate History Conference

Mackenzie Egan of Beach Lake, Pa. is one of six Wilkes University students participating in the Second Annual Wyoming Valley Undergraduate History Conference on Feb. 21. The conference will take place from 4-7 p.m. in the Cohen Science Center, 140 S. River St., Wilkes-Barre. Egan's research is entitled, "How Catharine Beecher and Harriet Beecher Stowe Changed Lives of Nineteenth Century Women".

Eleven students in total are participating from Wilkes, Kings College, Marywood University and University of Scranton. The conference is free and open to the public.
