Wilkes University Student Rebecca Voorhees of Tobyhanna, Pa. 18466 Presented Award at Annual Scholarship Luncheon

Rebecca Voorhees of Tobyhanna, Pa. 18466, is the recipient of The Anne Vanko Liva Scholarship at Wilkes University. Scholarship students were recognized along with the donors whose gifts made the scholarships possible at the University's annual Scholarship Luncheon on March 22. This scholarship is presented to an undergraduate majoring in music, with preference given to students specializing in the study of piano. It was established by friends and former students of Liva in honor of her many contributions to music and cultural life in Luzerne and Lackawanna counties. Voorhees is a English major.
