Wilkes University Welcomes Coletta Rempe of Scranton, Pa., to the Class of 2018

Wilkes University would like to welcome Coletta Rempe of Scranton, Pa., to the Class of 2018. Rempe is one of 565 incoming students comprising the 81st freshman class in University history. Rempe will study mechanical engineering.

Prior to the commencement of fall classes, Rempe attended a summer orientation session June 29-30. During the two-day session, Rempe met fellow classmates and student mentors, toured the residence halls and University campus, attended information sessions, enjoyed a picnic on the campus greenway, and explored the larger community via volunteer service projects. This year the service sites included the Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge in Dallas, Pa., the Wilkes-Barre YMCA, the CEO Food Bank, and the Back Mountain Memorial Library.
