Media Advisory: WILKES UNIVERSITY HOLDS EARTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE DAY ON APRIL 20

High school students will learn more about the role of geologists and earth scientists when Wilkes University holds Earth and Environmental Science Day on April 20 from 8:30 a.m. till 3 p.m. The event gives students the opportunity to join Wilkes faculty for hands-on activities and discussions.
Hands-on labs and activities will be happening between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. with labs being conducted on the half hour. The group will break for an hour lunch at 11:30 a.m. and resume the day at 12:30 p.m. The labs will take place in the Cohen Science Center and the Fenner Quadrangle (Greenway). All labs repeat on the half hour throughout the day.
