MEDIA ADVISORY/PHOTO OPPORTUNITY: Wilkes University Hosts Career and Internships Fair Oct. 17, 11 a.m.
Wilkes-Barre, PA (10/16/2019) — Wilkes University students have a chance to meet and network with more than 85 employers and 45 graduate and professional schools when the University's Center for Career Development and Internships holds it Career and Internships Fair on Thursday, Oct. 17. The event will take place in the University Center on Main, 169 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Students will have the opportunity to network with organizations throughout the event to learn more about internship, co-op, full-time jobs or part-time experiences in various fields.
Participating companies include CVS Health, Fastenal Company, Procter & Gamble (P&G), U.S. Customs and Border Protection and more. Professional schools in attendance include Fairleigh Dickinson University, Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, Temple University, Villanova University and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
