Wilkes University Hosts Safety Expo on Jan. 31
Wilkes-Barre, PA (01/30/2019) — Wilkes University's Department of Public Safety in partnership with the Office of Risk and Compliance will host a safety expo for faculty, students and staff from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31. The expo will take place in the first-floor lounge of the Henry Student Center, 84 W. South St., Wilkes-Barre.
The event will feature a variety of simulations and trainings to aid in health, safety and crime prevention. This includes CPR training, crime prevention tips, a fire suppression demonstration and "stop the bleeding" trauma training. Information will also be available about safety services on campus, including the new Colonel Connector, an after-hours shuttle.
